The 35mm Feature Film due for West End release in October 2004 is based on the 1902 novel by Edith Nesbit. Five Children & It is a story of five children sent to stay with their Uncle (Kenneth Branagh) in a strange house by the sea. While exploring they dig up an ill tempered 8000 year old Psammead (Sand Fairy - voiced by Eddie Izzard) who grants them a wish a day, naturally the results don't exactly work out. They crash cars, create chaos and destruction with a house full of clones, conjure up a T-Rex, sprout magical wings and try to rescue their father from the battlefield. |
