Lola Post Production are one of London’s most established boutique VFX houses, working on a variety of TV drama, documentaries and feature films.

We are looking for a full time Lead 2D to help supervise the comp team across some exciting high-profile projects. Lead 2D works closely with the Head of 2D, production team, 3D department and editorial; assisting with everything from bidding scripts to supervising the comp team from shot turnover through to delivery. 

Candidates must have around five years experience along with expertise using Nuke and working closely with other teams in a full VFX pipeline. There will be plenty of opportunity for hands-on compositing in addition to supervising others in the team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the 3d dept to establish methodologies and workflows on a per project basis
  • Working with editorial to set up project VFX pipeline.
  • Briefing and directing the comp team and overseeing workflow.
  • Communicating with production and other department heads regarding shot progress, creative approach and schedule.
  • Liaising with team to address client comments and recording progress.
  • Attending dailies and client screenings.
  • Managing remote workflow – from DMP artists to roto work

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate with clients, production and team members.
  • Experience working on episodic long form projects
  • Excellent understanding of VFX pipeline process.
  • Ability to motivate and mentor junior artists and promote team morale.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task across more than one project.
